Introduce basic soccer skills through fun games and activities, focusing on coordination, balance, and teamwork. Parental involvement is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for young children.

Kids Playing Soccer

Warm-up / Cool Down

  • Fun movement games (e.g., animal walks, running like a cheetah) to improve coordination and balance.

  • Gentle stretching, animal stretches (reach for the sky like a giraffe), and deep breathing exercises to end the session on a calm note

Family Soccer

Skill Development

  • Dribbling: Teach basic dribbling with simple games (e.g., "Follow the Leader" dribbling around cones).

  • Kicking: Soft kicking activities like "kick the cone" or "kick to a target".

  • Passing: Partner passing with soft balls, focusing on simple underhand kicks.

Young Footballers on Bench

Fun Games

  • Sharks and Minnows: Players dribble from one end of the field to the other, avoiding "sharks" (coaches or assistants) trying to steal the ball.

  • Treasure Hunt: Hide cones or small objects on the field; children must dribble around obstacles to collect them.

Parent Assistance:

Parents will be actively involved in helping guide children during activities and drills.

Coaches will provide parents with brief instructions on how to assist, ensuring they help maintain a structured and enjoyable environment for all players. â€‹
